21/12/2012 Visit to Fourknocks Passage Tomb

We visited Fourknocks this morning, and held a drumming session inside the tomb.  It was lovely and peaceful with amazingly strong energies.  The ancestors were very interested in my little dog Marty, and there was a blue and green orb following him around for quite a while.  During the drumming I saw some beautiful deep pink orbs in my own energy field, and waves of pink and green with my third eye.  A wonderful day, thanks to everyone that was there.

Reading With Spiritual Medium Eternal Spirit

I had a Skype reading with Spiritual Medium Paul Salmon.  Paul has a very friendly down to earth manner and quickly puts you at your ease.  He was able to connect in with Spirit immediately and give me messages from a number of people in my life, some who have passed over and some who are still on this plane.

He also covered my health, my emotional well being, the direction my life is going with work and relationships  among other things.  He described my family and home life accurately and gave me insights into what is currently happening for me.  He was able to connect with me physically and describe various aches and pains in different areas of my body.

A fascinating reading with a lovely man.  To contact Paul:

Private psychic/mediumship readings are £25 for 30 minutes on phone or skype. He is also available for public demonstrations.

TITLE: SOLSTICE – a ritual and cyclical marker?

Abstract

It is a profound and magical experience to witness the winter solstice sunrise from the darkness of the burial chamber at Newgrange.  At that time of year, the apparent standstill of the sun on the horizon endures for several days.  This would suggest that, in the prehistoric past, the architecture of the tomb was never intended to function as a kind of astronomical observatory or precise calendrical marker as is sometimes suggested.  Rather, the solar spectacle observed within the tomb at dawn may be one of a number of intended experiential design elements that reflect the wider role, meaning and hierarchy evident in Neolithic passage tombs. This inaugural lecture will examine the phenomenon and significance of the winter and summer solstices and its seemingly deliberate incorporation into the alignment of a restricted number of monuments – in Ireland and at a wider European level.
